Oral Presentation

For my oral presentation I'd like to focus on the artwork of Diane Arbus. I've always loved her photograph and feel very inspired by her work. She mainly does street photography in black and white and likes to focus on the strange in the world. She doesn't typically photograph pretty things, but rather creepy and gross things found in the world. She also spend most of her time photographing in NY, so I think I could apply a lot of her work to my own surroundings. There is something about her photos that make you want to look at them all day even though the subjects are usually people or things you'd immediately look away from. I want to try an accomplish this type of thing into my own photos and I think by furthering my knowledge on her and her work I can get closer to that.
